
Crushed stones individually placed and glued to create a one of a kind "Painting" The fact that it is called a painting is even somewhat deceiving as it is a craft that has been nurtured for generations through a family in Vietnam. There is no paint used. All the color and shading is from various colors of rocks that have been ground up, sorted, and then carefully placed to create this masterpiece.
The closest thing to these we can think of are sand mandalas made by monks which are then brushed away after they are finished.
